Magic MacBrayne’s ladies’ title

DUNAVERTY golfer Ailie MacBrayne swung into action to win the club’s ladies’ championship.

Varied weather

The competition was played over three rounds of varied weather on May 28, June 3 and June 10.

MacBrayne took an early lead af- ter the first round with a gross 72 and managed to maintain this to win the championship with a total of 229 (72+76+81).

Runner-up was Lindsay Garrett with 240 (77+81+82).

The winner of the handicap trophy was Mairi MacMillan with a net 205 over the three rounds. (61+66+78).
