Primary school graduates’ dance diversion
P7 PUPILS from Castlehill showed off their ‘moves like Jagger’ after the school’s prize-giving ceremony.
The youngsters let off some steam following the formalities of the awards do, where they were each presented with a scroll to commemorate their time at the school, by joining dancers Sarah Campbell and Erin Binnie on stage to show off their fancy footwork.
Before that, head teacher Richard Long presented children from each year group with various awards for their achievements throughout the year, which are listed below.
Football - All the below players received a medal for participation in the Baldy and Millennium Cups played recently at the all weather pitch.
Castlehill B team - Jake Anderson, Jamie Graham, Lewis Graham, Finn McCallum, Daniel McEachran, Jake MacMillan, Grace McTaggart, Kirstie Renton, Matthew Soudan.
Castlehill A team - Jack Campbell, Thomas Dickson, Calum McAllister, Murdo McLean, Euan O’May, Ethan Parker, Owen Reid, Daniel Semple.
The Baldy Cup was won by Castlehill A team.
Sport awards: Infant Cup: winner Ahmad Amjad; runner-up Abigail Galbraith. Junior Cup: winner Taylor McMillan; runners-up Jake Anderson, Andrew Muir and Ryan Johnston. Senior Shield: winner Murdo McLean; runner-up Owen Reid.
Relay teams - Each pupil was awarded a medal for participation at the relay competition at Campbeltown Grammar School.

B team - Jamie Griffiths, Erin Harrogate, Millie Lafferty, Ethan Parker.
