Down memory lane

A regular contributor from Campbeltown Heritage Centre has submitted a revealing Courier photograph from the late 1950s. It was probably taken in 1957 or ‘58 and shows the Blue Tie Girl Guides dance troupe. The amateur historian says the dancers are all grannies. From left they are: Sandra Blair, Mary McDonald, Margaret Robertson, Mary McSporran and Morag Houston.
