Festive fare

AS DECEMBER looms on the horizon tonight there is a Thoughts of Christmas evening at Campbeltow­n Bowling Club from 7.30pm.

The event, in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support, is £10 to enter which includes a buffet and wine.

Kintyre Gin, Wee Toon Carver, John Brown and crafter Jacqueline Gillies will give live demonstrat­ions.

Hot haircut at curry night

MORAG’S quiz and curry night in aid of The Little Princess Trust will feature a live hair chop.

The event is at Campbeltow­n Bowling Club on Friday, November 17 from 7.30pm and the entry price includes a curry.

The Little Princess Trust uses donated hair to make wigs for children who have suffered hair loss through cancer treatment.

Masonic spooktacul­ar

CAMPBELTOW­N’S Deep Joy has some chilling numbers rocked up and ready to roll for tomorrow evening’s Hallowee’en dance at Masonic Live.

There will be a spirited crew behind the lodge bar at 141 St John’s Recreation­al Club and skeletons are welcome from 7pm to 1am.
