Bowls roll in indoor season opener

GENTS from across Kintyre skipped into Tayinloan village hall last week to mark the start of the indoor bowls season.

Members met at the hall last Tuesday night for their first match, and with the nights drawing in and winter approaching, they will meet once a week to compete and catch up.

New members are welcome to join the group, which attracts visitors from the length and breadth of Kintyre.

The Tayinloan ladies’ indoor season kicks off on Monday November 6.
