Live Argyll scoops up soft play
NURSERY children slid, bounced and explored for a morning at an official Live Argyll (LA) handover.
The youngsters from Dalintober Early Learning Centre, led by acting lead childcare practitioner Elizabeth MacDonald, were the first to race round Campbeltown Community Education Centre’s soft play equipment under its new LA ownership.
When the charitable trust LA took over leisure centres, museums and libraries, formerly run by Argyll and Bute Council, on October 2, the centre committee offered to transfer all the relevent soft play assets such as the inflatable slide, the bouncy castle and exploration equipment.
Last Friday Live Argyll business support manager Diane McMillan ceremonially signed a document, already endorsed by Anna Binnie of the previous centre council, witnessed by Sammy Jo Shields.
