News from Campbeltown Community Council
COMMUNITY council member Lesley Black confirmed that she would be making an application for £2,500 from Argyll and Bute’s Supporting Communities Fund programme to pay for more seagull-proof bins.
Applications to the fund close next Monday and groups can apply for a maximum of £2,500 per project or event.

Police report
POLICE constables Chris Bain and Connor MacAuley gave the crime figures for the month since December’s meeting.
There were six tickets for traffic offences, one formal recorded police warning, and one anti-social behaviour order.
Reports were made to the procurator fiscal as follows: two for drug possession, seven for breach of the peace, four assaults, one drink driving, one speeding, one mobile phone use in a vehicle, one theft by house breaking and two assaults on police.
In total there were 110 incidents recorded by the police.

One of the first posts was a link to HIJOBS.net which has a vacancy listed for an apprentice with the Oil and Pipelines Agency.
