Summer has arrived!

Social media campaign shines bright in the sun

-

At the start of May we asked you the question: What are the ingredients to the secret sauce that makes Argyll one of the best places to live or visit in Scotland? Well, we are now almost at the end of a glorious, warm, sunny month that has showcased Argyll in all its glory – and you have responded in your thousands. Our social wall at www. myargyll.co.uk is creaking under the weight of your shared videos, pictures and memories of all that is great about Argyll. To quote our friends at AITC: you really are Wild About Argyll. With the weather seemingly set fair for at least another couple of weeks, there is no reason to stop sharing your wonderful content. Keep it coming. To participate, simply tag your photos, videos, poetry or prose on Twitter, YouTube or Instagram #myargyll. Remember to ensure your privacy settings are set to public to enable sharing. We will also be showcasing selected entries in our newspapers, magazines and websites throughout the year. Your chance to win a once-in-a-lifetime prize While it is wonderful to show the world why Argyll is THE place to be, wouldn’t it be nice if you had the chance to win a fantastic prize? Well, why not take the next step and enter your content into our #myargyll competition? Once you have shared your content via social media, visit www.myargyll.co.uk/ competition, follow the instructions and upload your content. All entries will then be judged by an independent panel of experts and a winner will be announced later in the summer. The closing date for entries is Monday June 11, 2018, so don’t delay.
