Theft
A yard at Kirk Street, Campbeltown, was broken into and 35 lobster creels were stolen sometime between June 22 and July 8.
Vehicle damaged
A grey Vauxhall Vectra had its driver’s door mirror smashed between 12.30pm and 12.40pm on July 5 in the town’s Longrow South.
Arrested
At about 6pm on July 11, in Shore Street, Campbeltown, a 40-year-old man was arrested for allegedly behaving in an abusive manner. He was charged, held for court and a report was submitted to the procurator fiscal.
Drugs
A 22-year-old man was found to be in possession of cannabis after he was searched at about 11.40pm on July 12, at Glebe Street, Campbeltown. He received a recorded police warning.
Appeal
Police are appealing for witnesses after a man allegedly made a homophobic comment towards another man at about 4.30pm on July 12, in Main Street, Campbeltown.
Charged
A motorist was stopped for allegedly exceeding the speed limit at about 2.45am on July 13, on the A83 in Campbeltown. The 49-yearold woman was charged and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
Window smashed
Police are investigating after a window pane of a flat in High Street, Campbeltown, was smashed at about 11.50pm on July 13.
Theft of a car
A black Nissan Qashqai car was stolen from Texa Crescent, Port Ellen, Islay, between 8pm on July 13 and 9am on July 14. The vehicle was later found damaged in a ditch on the Kintra Road.
