Oban, United Auctions, Saturday November 9: 96 head of Cattle sold at the Luing Production Sale held on behalf of Mr Shane Cadzow, Ardlarach (Cadzow Brothers), Isle of Luing. This first time event drew a large following of customers which resulted in record prices and averages being obtained. INCALF HEIFERS (2 years old) (23) averaged £2,236.96 and sold to £4,200, £3,255, £2,625, £2,520, £2,310. INCALF HEIFERS (3 years old) (6) averaged £2318.75 and sold to £2,730, £2,520 (2), £2,257.50. BULLING HEIFERS (30) averaged £1,550.50 and sold to £1,890, £1,837.50, £1,785(3), £1,732.50, £1,680 (4), £1,627.50, £1,575(2).
