-

The owner of a Kintyre brow clinic is celebrating after being named as a finalist in a third set of prestigious beauty awards this year.

After reaching the finals in the best brow artist category at the SHABA Awards in September, Kelly Souden, owner of The Brow Clinic Campbeltown, now has a chance of being crowned semi-permanent make-up specialist of the year at the ninth Scottish Hair and Beauty Awards in December and brow expert at the inaugural Scottish NBL Awards this weekend.

Kelly will join top Scottishbased professionals and businesses at the first Scottish NBL Awards, a celebration of everyone who takes care of nails, brows and lashes.

The awards are organised by Creative Oceanic but voted for by the public who nominated their favourite salons and professionals.

The event will take place on Sunday November 17 at Glasgow’s Marriott Hotel.

Next month, Kelly will find out if she is a winner at the ninth Official Hair and Beauty Awards 2019, another Creative Oceanic event, which is sponsored by La Belle Form.

The Scottish Hair and Beauty Awards will be presented on Sunday December 8 at The Doubletree by Hilton, Glasgow. The night will honour those who follow the latest trends and use creative techniques resulting in flawless looks. Kelly told the Courier: ‘It’s an honour to be nominated for my second and third awards this year. Coming from a small town, it means so much to me. I wouldn’t be where I am today without my wonderful clients and I am grateful to them and my husband for the great support I have received.’
