This week’s photograph of the week shows a rare visitor to Kintyre.

Amanda Chaisson, from Campbeltown, snapped this little puffin during a visit to Westport beach last week.

She said the weather was very misty at the time, adding: ‘I think he hunkered down until the mist lifted.’
