Abusive behaviour
A 32-year-old man was arrested, charged and issued with a recorded police warning after behaving in an abusive manner at about 4.45pm on Wednesday September 16, at Milknowe Road, Campbeltown.
Speeding motorist
An 18-year-old driver was stopped and charged with exceeding the speed limit on the A83, at Campbeltown, at about 10pm on Thursday September 17. A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
Drugs possession
A 38-year-old man was charged and issued with a recordable police warning after he was stopped and searched by police on Albyn Avenue, Campbeltown, at about 10pm on Friday September 18, and was found to be in possession of a small amount of cannabis.
Serious assault
Police are investigating after receiving a report of people fighting in Longrow, Campbeltown, at about 11.30pm on Saturday September 19. Police attended immediately but several people had left the scene. As a result of the incident, one person had a broken bone.
Bicycles stolen
Police are investigating after two bicycles – one of which is described as a blue and white mountain bike – were stolen from Kirk Street, Campbeltown, at about 10am on Saturday September 5.
Vehicle damaged
The side and bumper of a Toyota Aygo car were damaged between 9.15pm on Wednesday September 9 and 8.30am on Thursday September 10, at Lady Mary Row, Campbeltown.
