Kick-off summer with liveArgyll
Ready yourself for a summer of fun as the liveArgyll charity comes back to life.
With the easing of pandemic restrictions, soft play has re-opened at Kintyre Community Centre, Campbeltown, much to the delight of liveArgyll customers in Kintyre.
Sessions lasting 75 minutes can be booked by emailing kintyrecentre@ liveargyll.co.uk.
Also on offer are holiday activity camps for primary school aged children.
From July 26 to 30, children can attend the multi-activity camp, which will include indoor and outdoor sports, games and crafts.
There is also a football camp from July 12 to 16 delivered through gamebased activities focusing on agility, balance, speed and co-ordination.
Sessions will also include movement skills and technical and tactical components – all in a safe and fun environment.

Fitness fanatics can keep in shape at the Aqualibrium gym with fitness classes, from Zumba and hoop fit to torque – indoor cycling – and high intensity interval training.
There will be plenty opportunities to make a splash at Aqualibrium swimming pool, with additional week-day hours and extra family sessions, including a weekend inflatable fun run.
As part of liveArgyll's commitment to the health and wellbeing of communities, the charity is offering affordable leisure memberships including gym, swim and fitness classes, with single and family options.
The charity is also running a free pass scheme allowing non-members to try a free fitness class of their choosing, a gym induction or a free gym or swim session before they sign up.
Campbeltown Library has reopened with amended opening hours – Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9am to 1pm and Saturday 10am to 1pm – and is also offering a clickand-collect service, where library users can order up to five books from their genre of choosing. Archive and study sections remain on hold as a result of current national restrictions.
Tarbert Library is also open on Tuesdays from 3pm to 6pm and Thursdays from 10am to 1pm.
The leisure charity continues to await guidance from the Scottish Government on when event and community venues can re-open but already has dates provisionally in the diary for Tide Lines concerts and viral sensation Gary Meikle.
