Outwell go green for 2024
Outwell has announced a green initiative for 2024 as it launches a new tent collection and 12 new models. The Caring Choice products have been developed to reduce the Danish company’s impact on the environment, by using recycled materials and sustainably manufacturing techniques In 2024, Caring Choice products will result in plastic waste to the equivalent of 2.7 million plastic bottles being recycled. An Outwell spokesman said: “We recognise that action needs to be taken now to protect our world for future generations. Caring Choice is just one step on the road we navigate towards our sustainability goals. “The journey is one of many avenues and one we work hard to address while recognizing the miles yet to cover.” Outwell will have 49 tents over six collections – three air and three poled – in its range for 2024. The new Deluxe Air Collection will include six news models – the Sunhill 3 Air, Sunhill 5 Air, Moonhill 5 Air, Moonhill 6 Air, Stonehill 5 Air and Stonehill 7 Air (above). The Outwell spokesman added: “This easy-to-understand tunnel style range is ideal for touring holidays and will suit all looking for a well priced introduction to inflatable family tents.” This entry-level inflatable tent range is aimed at campers new to inflatable tents who want good value for money, simple set-up and plenty of features. The tents are constructed from Outex 4000 Select fabric, with the internal Rigid Air System, and features include darkened bedrooms, sewn-in groundsheets, the HookTrack hanging system and more. Two new tents are also being added to the Encounter Collection – Sky 4 and Sky 6 – and the Blackwood 4 and 5 will join the Select collection. Finally, the top-of-the-range Premium collection will have two new tents, the Utah 5 and Wyoming 6.
