WHEELARCHES

-

The wheelarches can transmit road noise and vibrations, so they should be soundproofed from both sides. On the inside, where it’s dry, they can be lined in a selfadhesive material. If space is tight, cut small sections of material and manoeuvre them into position, before pressing them down firmly.

On the outside, remove any wheelarch liners and clean the area to see what can be done. Underseal or a similar rubberised soundproofing liquid can usually be applied to help reduce road noise and vibrations.
