Car share

I see the BBC are broadcasting reruns of Peter Kay’s Car Share comedy series. I had seen a couple of these back in 2015, when it first aired, but managed to view all six 30-minute episodes this week.

Two years ago, I was rather doubtful whether a programme about two characters driving to and from work could be entertaining. But after 10 minutes of watching the first in the series, it somehow grabs you. I have to say the whole series was fabulously scripted and funny throughout. A second series is being filmed at the moment and due to air later in 2017.

One question: I wonder why they picked a Fiat 500L as the ‘star’ car?
