On page 84 of the December 2016 issue, Kieran Brady asked about a code reader for his 2002 Saab and you recommended the Foxwell NT200 or 301. Both of these are in my price range and I wondered if the NT301 would be suitable for my 2003 Rover 75 CDTI? It sounds the better one of the two budget devices. Karl Sheridan EOBD compliance came into force in 2001 for petrol-engined vehicles, but not until 2004 for diesel vehicles. Having checked with some dealers, it seems there is not a suitable budget diagnostic tester available for your vehicle.
