A $1.8 billion joint venture between Detroit Electric and the Far East

Smarter Energy Group of China aims to develop and produce a range of electric vehicles over the next three years. The initial stage will focus on the start of volume production of the all-electric SP:01 sports car at the company’s Leamington Spa facility in the UK. This will include the creation of 120 new engineering jobs and 100 new manufacturing jobs.

Denso’s thermal range has been expanded by an additional 59 new Oequality items. The range additions consist of 32 radiators, 21 condensers, four intercoolers and two engine cooling fans, covering 650 additional applications linked to 90 OE part numbers.
