Parallel and serial diagnostic testing

Serial diagnostics involves accessing all data through the EOBD diagnostic socket, which can be a simpler and easier way of working, but is not always viewed as offering a complete solution. This feature focuses on the more old-fashioned, but still relevant, parallel diagnostic testing procedures, where the tester extracts live data between the main engine electronic control unit (ECU) and the wiring loom.
