LIGHT SWAPS

Swapping a headlight or rear light unit for an aftermarket item is often straightforward, but in some cases, the wiring needs to be modified or a new multi-plug fitted, so check first before spending your money. Upgrading from standard lighting to xenon HID or LEDS will often require wiring modifications and additional components. Xenon HID headlight units may include a power pack – see the FAQ section for the legalities of uprating standard headlights with xenon HID bulbs. LEDS may need resistors if a vehicle has sensors and warning systems to identify a blown rear light bulb.
