Orange indicator lenses can sometimes be swapped for clear or tinted lenses, which will also require an orange bulb. The work involved in the conversion is usually straightforward, requiring the lens to be removed and replaced – side repeater lenses, for instance, are usually clipped into a front wing, whereas separate front indicator lenses are often secured with a couple of screws.
