BOOST PIPES

The routing of the boost pipes is essential to ensure the airflow is smooth and unrestricted. Too many bends in the pipework creates turbulence, which reduces performance. Induction and boost pipes must be substantial to withstand the pressures of forced induction – silicone hoses are preferable to standard rubber pipework. If the boost pressure is increased or the engine modified it’s worthwhile replacing all of the standard rubber hoses for silicone.
