UPRATED TURBOS

There is a number of uprated components that can help to improve the efficiency of a turbo and produce more power. Billet aluminium compressor wheels, for instance, are lighter and more precisely manufactured, allowing faster spooling. A 270° thrust bearing is fitted in some turbos, which can withstand up to one bar of boost pressure, whereas a more substantial 360° bearing is capable of taking up to 1.8 bar.
