Don’t forget to also
CHECK AUXILIARY DRIVEBELTS on the right of the engine bay. Look for tearing, fraying or cracking. Also check the tension, which should be no more than a quarter-of-aturn between pulleys.
CLEAN OUT DRAINHOLES on the body and doors, using a small screwdriver or wire – they can get blocked, which will promote corrosion.
CLEAR OUT MUDTRAPS around the bodywork, such as inside the wheelarches. If mud is allowed to build up here, it could lead to corrosion.
CHECK SPARE WHEEL if one is fitted – not all models (including this one) have one as standard.
