Dropping power

-

I’m hoping you can answer a question about a 2011 Peugeot 207 HDI diesel. It keeps dropping power, then the management light comes on and goes out after a while. The code reading says ‘P2562, Turbocharger boost control position sensor A circuit’. The local Peugeot parts department says it doesn’t know what this is as it’s not listed, but suggests the air intake temperature sensor or flow meter (MAF) could be at fault. However, they gave me a parts diagram and list that includes an air pressure sensor LG 103, part number 1920LH. Is that what the code reader means? Paul Brook I would have expected a different code from either the MAF or air intake temperature sensor. The part number 1920LH is the air pressure sensor for the inlet manifold – this may be causing the problem you have and would activate the code. However, before replacing this, I would first check the connections and the circuit between the terminals and the ECU.

You do not mention which code reader you were using to read off the code, but if it was a reader using only the EOBD system you may find that using a Peugeot-dedicated reader may get a more specific code.
