Aston Martin has been working with thermal management specialist Zircotec to use its highperformance ceramic coating on the exhaust of the Vanquish S Red Arrows edition. This proprietary coating helps to protect the exhaust and the surrounding carbon fibre bodywork from the high temperatures produced by the V12 engine.
From January 1, Belgium’s capital Brussels will introduce an extensive environmental zone covering the entire metropolitan area and its 19 municipalities. In order to enter this zone, all vehicle owners must first be registered in the municipal database, with older polluting vehicles excluded from traffic. For the present, this regulation only applies to Belgians – other nationalities will not have to register their vehicles before summer 2018.
