prime I felt the need to try and do my bit for the environment and decided on a small city car. In the two months I’ve had it, it’s proven trouble-free and a willing little companion with the two extra seats in the rear (it’s more of a 2+2 than full-on four-seater) proving useful at times. I’ve also been seeing 60mpg around town.

2010 BMW X5 E70

Have made several upgrades and mods. The odometer clicked past 118,000 miles recently, although the engine is strong and feels healthy, pulling strongly all through the range without leaving smoke trails behind her. Sadly, a neighbour recently reversed into my driver’s door and this got me thinking that a change was needed. As I write this I’m about to collect my new X5 F15 Xdrive 3.0d.
