Dedicated glow plug sockets

When it comes to unscrewing a faulty glow plug, you’ll be lucky to even be able to see it, let alone get access to remove it. They’re invariably hidden away in the hidden recesses around the cylinderhead and surrounded by metalwork and other components. These compact glow plug sockets (part number 6741) will fit into the tightest areas. The deep socket fits snugly over the glow plugs and the narrow diameter and universal joint enables you to remove them efficiently and safely. Three sizes are included in the set – 8mm, 9mm and 10mm – all fitted with a universal joint. They are ¼in drive to keep the size down and enable the use of slim, ¼in drive extension bars.
