Below are the official recommended renewal intervals for the various components. However, we strongly advise that the change intervals are at least halved. Service intervals Every 12,500 miles or annually, whichever comes first. Air filter Every 37,500 miles or three years. Fuel filter At least every 37,500 miles or three years. Spark plugs NGK TR6AP-13 or equivalent, renewed every 37,500 miles or three years. Coolant Every 10 years. Auxiliary drivebelt Every 125,000 miles or 10 years. Note that there is no belt tensioner; officially, renewal involves cutting off the old belt and using a special tool to fit the new one, however the job can be done using a couple of well-placed screwdrivers so long as you’re careful not to damage the belt. Brake fluid Every two years. Engine oil 5W-20 Castrol Magnatec (or equivalent) Capacity Service fill, 4.3 litres; dry fill, 4.6 litres.
