SERVICE SCHEDULE

EVERY 12,500 MILES or ONE YEAR

Change engine oil and oil filter Check brake/clutch fluid and coolant level and strength; top-up if necessary Check power steering fluid level (on earlier models) Check battery Check tyre condition, pressures and tread Check screenwash level; top-up if necessary Check wiper blades and wash/wipe system Check operation of all lights and controls Check auxiliary drivebelt Check engine bay for fluid leaks and hose condition Check electrical wiring Check condition and tension of all seatbelts Check front brake pads, discs and calipers; clean or replace as necessary Check rear brake pads, discs and calipers; clean or replace as necessary Check underbody, exhaust and fuel/brake line condition Check steering and suspension components Check driveshaft joints and gaiters Lubricate all locks, catches and hinges Replace pollen filter (air-conditione­d models) Check operation of parking brake Reset service interval indicator

EVERY TWO YEARS

Change brake/clutch fluid Change remote control fob battery Renew coolant (unless Ford red/pink fluid is being used)

EVERY 37,500 MILES or THREE YEARS

Change fuel filter Change air filter

EVERY 100,000 MILES or EIGHT YEARS

Renew the auxiliary belt

EVERY 125,000 MILES or 10 YEARS

Replace cambelt and tensioner (this is the Ford schedule – if a vehicle is used for a lot of urban journeys, we recommend shortening this interval)
