PUMPED-UP
Steven Ward’s article The Class of Gas in the March 2020 immediately grabbed my attention. I have a Rover 100 (1996), so this was of special interest. And whereas I used to follow the Haynes Manual temperature compensation information for the ride height, for the last few years I have disregarded that and pumped up the Hydragas so that the ride height is the same in winter as in summer.
Consequently, it was reassuring to see that my instinctive behaviour is endorsed by those with a far deeper knowledge. Martin Rubenstein
