Inspection light

My Foxwell Pro NT 4021 scanner is fine for my Vauxhall Corsa, but struggles to turn off the ‘inspection due’ message on my 2014

Audi A3 1.4 petrol. Is it possible that I don’t have the right software, because the Audi model only goes to 2009? If that is not relevant, I need a step-by-step instruction if possible. Derek Ibbotson

Having recently bought your NT 4021 scanner, it should come with free lifetime updates and it may need to be updated to incorporate the latest Audi software. The oil service can be reset using the central controller, but the inspection interval can normally only be set using suitable diagnostic equipment. If it can be set manually, this is the method: Turn on the ignition and select ‘CAR’ from the menu with the central controller. Select ‘Service interval display’ and the relevant screen will appear, then select ‘Reset oil change interval’. The system will now be reset.
