Verdict
It is easy to see why so many were attracted to the DS3’S style and lively driving experience, and it’s a combination that tempts us just as much today. Yes, there are rivals that arguably offer even more in the fashion stakes but Citroën managed to add useful space and practicality to the mix, and for some buyers those things will matter.
So there is both form and function in its favour, and with so many colour and trim combinations there’s bound to be one that interests you. The looks have aged well, too, and the tempting prices just add to the appeal.
The caveat is around the reliability of some petrol engines, but with such a plentiful choice on the used market there’s little reason to land yourself with a duffer.
