LANCIA STRATOS

Built from an aftermarket kit, but with details tweaked for a tidier appearance. Note new vents ahead of rear wheels for cooling the 3.2-litre supercharged Alfa V6 engine set to go in. Colour references original Stratos concept.

ALFA GIULIA

Giulia features a 2.7-litre Millington Diamond engine – essentially a Cosworth YB engine without the turbo – with a larger transmission tunnel for Sadev gearbox. Makes 330bhp – that’s about 120bhp more than the Sierra Cosworth.

DATSUN 260Z

Arrived at Retropower with a rusty bodyshell that had been extensively damaged in an accident. The body is now perfect, and the car about to get proper poke courtesy of an R33 Nissan Skyline GTS-t single-turbo engine.

JAGUAR XJC

Near-standard looks, but with a cleaner front and rear ends – rear valance, new bumper corners, grilles – plus more modern exhausts. Runs GM LS3 engine, traction control, ABS. Rear axle is late XJS, bringing outboard discs.

MERCEDES W108

It’s still early days on this one but low-rider spec includes Jaguar axles front and rear, XJR brakes, rackand-pinion steering, air suspension, custom interior and GM LS3 engine for more performance than the car could ever need.
