Lamborghini SC20: radical one-o revealed
Behold the SC20. No roof. Any point?
Air (very) apparent
No windscreen means countless scoops and vents in the all-carbon bodywork to deflect as much air as possible away from the occupants’ vulnerable faces. Wind in your hair? Like sitting on the nose of an A380.
Get your tools out
Side scoops from the Essenza SCV12, a massive rear splitter and Sian-inspired rear lights and exhausts are all well and good, but the party piece is the manually adjustable three-level rear wing.
Material overload
Machined aluminium door handles. 3D-printed vents. Carbonfibre all over the wheel, dashboard and centre console. Even the seats are carbon – composite shells upholstered in leather and alcantara.
Old at heart
SC20 will sing a familiar tune – Lambo’s epic 7.5-litre V12 lives under the engine cover, making 760bhp and 531lb ft. The ’box is Aventador (ouch!) and the power sent to all four wheels (20-inchers fore, 21s aft).
