Depleted sides cause more worry

THERE is increasing concern in Costcutter Football League circles after another weekend when clubs found difficulty fulfilling fixtures.

Unbeaten division one unbeaten leaders St Dogmaels were without half a dozen regulars for a Cwpan Coffa Dai Dynamo Davies game against Felinfach in the north Pembrokeshire village.

Cardigan Town had just nine players for the division one game at Lampeter Town, where the visitors went down 4-0.

Maesglas, who are at the head of division two, barely managed to put out a side to take on visitors Crannog in a Cwpan Dai tie and were buried under a 15-goal avalanche.

Referee Llyr Evans spared the hosts further misery by calling a premature halt to proceedings.
