Playgrounds Parents and carers are kindly asked to ensure that everyone observes the Welsh Government rules for alert level 4 when visiting Llannon Community Council parks. The rules say that you should not arrange to meet with other households at playgrounds and should not socialise there and that exercise must start and finish from your home or the home of the members of your support bubble. Frequent hand washing or sanitisation, not eating or drinking in parks, wiping down equipment with your own wipes, and maintaining low numbers within parks and on equipment by taking turns or using parks at less busy times is recommended. Stay safe!

‘Phishing’ warning Dyfed-powys Police has been warning about Covid-based scams and reminding everyone that the NHS will never ask for bank details, etc. Now there are warnings about ‘phishing’ where criminals try to obtain information from people’s computers. They may send messages pretending to know you and try to get personal details such as passwords or credit card details. The police advice is to be careful of messages sent to you, even from your Facebook contacts and if you get a Facebook message asking “is/is that you?” do not click on the link and do not enter your Facebook user ID and password. You are also advised to use unique and complex passwords for all your online accounts.
