Christmas craft fair Festive stalls will greet you when you arrive at our Christmas market in the Memorial Hall from Friday from 2pm. On Saturday we will be serving from 10am to 5pm and doors will finally close late afternoon on Sunday. Wonderful local crafts and festive produce and a seasonal atmosphere to enjoy.

Birthday fundraiser An amazing sum of £1,230 was donated in lieu of gifts when our Mock Mayor celebrated his special birthday in September. The celebrations continued throughout the day but what a great result. Roger would like to thank all who made donations and helped him celebrate and the whole amount has been passed on to the Cardio Respiratory Unit at Glangwili Hospital. Remembrance Day tributes There was an excellent attendance at all tributes on Sunday, November 14 with the first held at Llangain Memorial Hall where the wreath was laid by Cllr Haydn Williams, chair of the community council. Members of the Royal British Legion then progressed to Llangynog where a large congregation had gathered. Wreaths here were laid by Cllr Phillip Titterton CBE, vice-chair of the community council, and by Daf Davies, chair of the RBL. At Llanybri Memorial wreaths were laid by Cllr Cerian Lodwick, chair of the community council and Karen Harries on behalf of the Legion. The final tribute was at Llansteffan Memorial Hall where again large numbers were in attendance and wreaths were laid by Cllr Anthea Evans, vice-chair of the community council, and Brian

Thomas on behalf of the Legion. Thanks to all who contributed throughout the morning particularly the branch standard bearer Robert Harries and especially our branch chaplain Ann Howells, the Rev Lorna Bradley and Ordinant Martine Johnson for conducting the services.
