OTTERS SEAL AWAY VICTORY

-

NARBERTH recorded their third win of the season in the Admiral National Championship with a 16-0 victory at Beddau.

The Otters sealed victory with a converted try at the end of the game.

Hendy beat Llanelli Wanderers 19-18 in a see-saw encounter in Admiral National League One West and Felinfoel claimed a 19-0 win at Gorseinon.

Carmarthen Athletic moved up to fourth in Two West thanks to an excellent 34-0 defeat of Loughor.

Kidwelly are second following their 13-8 win over Fishguard, while Nantgaredig also moved up the table courtesy of a 24-13 victory over Pontyberem.

Tycroes won 13-7 at Milford Haven – their first victory of the season.

In Three West A there were wins for Cardigan and St Clears, while Tumble maintained their perfect unbeaten record in Three West B as they claimed a 21-0 win at Llandeilo.

They have stretched six points clear of second-placed Cefneithin as a result.

Cwmgors went down 26-10 at home to Vardre in Three West Central A.

The visitors from Clydach were first to score when they won the race to a kick and chase.

A Cwmgors penalty from Andrew Mason reduced the arrears to 5-3, but some good passing from Vardre saw them get the ball wide to score a converted try.

The home side had a chance to cut the lead just before the break through another Mason penalty, but the kick went wide.

A converted try from Vardre saw them extend their lead to 19-3 early in the second half.

However, a period of pressure from the Cherries eventually saw Owen Wright go over after a good drive from a tap-penalty.

Mason converted to make it 1910, but Vardre sealed victory when they scored from a well-rehearsed move for the final score of the match.

Pontyates are second in Three West Central C after they saw off Rhigos 11-6, but there were defeats for Pantyffynnon – 23-11 at Cwmtwrch – and Penybanc, who went down 42-12 at home to Tonna.*
