Sports meeting At the recent meeting for trustees of the sports club maintenance issues were the main focus of discussion. The community service team have done an excellent job of strimming the perimeter and clearing brambles around the Morfa and are to be congratulated. The presence of knotweed and hogweed in a particular area meant those spots were left uncut. Following a complaint regarding the loose cricket nets the cricket club members will be asked to make safe or remove them. Fundraising ideas were discussed and now the elusive ducks have been located the popular duck race can go ahead on Sunday, July 31. A car boot sale is to be organised with a date yet to be decided. A visit by the vintage car enthusiasts from Pembrokeshire is eagerly anticipated and the date is Sunday, June 19. The cars are scheduled to arrive around lunchtime and will be parked on the slightly raised area of the Morfa near the school fence. It should be a quite spectacular sight.
