Brechfa plant sale On Saturday, May 11, from 10am to noon at Brechfa Church Hall – Refreshmen­ts and Plant Stalls – Get sowing and growing, you can donate your excess plants and seedlings to the hall from 5pm on the Friday or on the day. Pobl y Fforest craft session The May session is to be on Sunday, May 12, from 1pm to 4pm, designing and making things out of old pallets. Some pallets, ironmonger­y and hand tools will be provided, or bring your own. Booking is not necessary and a small charge may be made for materials. They do ask for contributi­ons (in the region of £2.50 for adults, children free) to help cover Keepers’ running costs. Church in Wales services For St Teilo in Brechfa, services and events are as follows: Communion service at 11am on the first Sunday – May 5– and morning prayer on the third Sunday – May 19 – both at 11am. At St Michael’s, Llanfihang­el Rhos y Corn, communion service normally on the first Sunday – May 5– evening prayer on the Sunday – May 19 – both at 2.30pm. The next Pilgrim Services are May 8 at 6pm and June 12, the second Wednesday in the month. The next monthly Quiet Space session at Llanfihang­el on the last Saturday day in the month will be this Saturday, May 25.
