Mobile library service The next visit to the village by the mobile library is tomorrow. The van carries a huge variety of reading matter and includes many books in large print. It is parked on the square from 11.15am to 12.15pm and then moves on to Y Wesle where it can be visited from 12.15pm to 12.45pm. Llanybri stops are at Y Hen Gapel between 1.30pm and 2.45pm and Ger y Marbell between 2.45pm and 4pm. The vehicle has easy access and provides free public wi-fi. The Hub The weekly hub cannot take place tomorrow due to the voting being held in the Memorial Hall. Normal service resumes on May 9 when Julia Griffiths Jones will give a talk about her artworks.

Tuesday yoga All levels and abilities are welcome to join the Tuesday yoga class held in the Memorial Hall from 5.30pm to 6.30pm. The session is adapted according to the needs of the participan­ts. Please contact Luisa Neumann on Facebook to secure your spot.

Fabulous Forties Llangynog Village Hall is the place to be to be taken back to a 1940s night. The date is Saturday, May 11, and doors open from 7pm. Bring your own refreshmen­ts and to add to the fun why not dress in period costume. Music is courtesy of the Keith Marshall Little Big Band with vocalists Phoebe Morgan and Angharad Sanders. Music in the Meadow A date for your diary and a sign that summer is on the way as plans are evolving for the hugely enjoyable Music in the Meadow afternoon. The date is Saturday, June 29 and the venue is the Croft Field behind the main car park. Further details to follow.
