Waiting to
Something sinister is lurking in the sky… Malcolm Robinson, 59, from Hastings, East Sussex
O
ut of breath after a game of footy, my mates and I lay on our backs in the school playing field and stared at the sky.
It was 1970 and I was 13, living in Tullibody, Scotland. It was a sunny day and there wasn’t a cloud to be seen.
But there was something else… A 30ft white egg-shaped orb floating upwards above us!
‘What’s that?’ I gasped.
Was it an aircraft? A weather balloon?
But in a split second, when I looked away and back again, it’d vanished.
No doubt
The hairs stood up on the back of my neck. There was no doubt in my mind. We’d seen a UFO. That day changed my life forever, made me determined to prove there’s life beyond Earth.

Over the years, I’ve seen a tube in the sky in Derbyshire, a pulsating light in Loch Ness and a white sphere in Blackpool.
I’ve interviewed over 300 people in the UK and given talks in France, Holland and America about close encounters.
Abducted
There’s no rational explanation for the eyewitness accounts of red circular objects, blue orbs and strange triangles in the sky.
I’ve been an extraterrestrial investigator for over 40 years, but there’s one story that makes my blood run cold – an alien abduction…
In December 2009, Steve, an ambulance repairman approached me for help.
He’d been with his friend Chris, driving from their home in Edinburgh to visit a mate in the village of Tarbrax half an hour away.
Suddenly, they saw a 20fthigh black dome in the sky.
It wasn’t a helicopter or any other aircraft.
The strange shape radiated a silver, shimmery curtain of light that enveloped the car.
Terror had surged through Steve. Quick as a flash, he’d locked the doors and slammed his foot on the accelerator. They had to get away… But they were catapulted into inky blackness.
They couldn’t see or hear each other. The
