Mary Jane had to seek justice, so she told police to exhume Zona’s body for a second autopsy. This showed that Zona’s windpipe was crushed. Her neck had been broken and she had gouge marks on her skin.

Edward was arrested and charged with murder. At the trial, the defence hoped Mary Jane’s paranormal testimony would weaken her case, but it made reaching a verdict easier for the jury.
