I manifested my true path My intuition was telling me to go for it My job doesn’t feel like work

Manager of a hospital project, I had a lot of hoops to jump through. But, after five years in the role, supporting people with alcohol and drug problems, I was getting increasingly bogged down with red tape.

In January 2007, very fed up, I began to dream about setting up a wellbeing centre.

But going it alone scared me.

‘You should try reiki,’ a colleague said.

Dream

A qualified counsellor with a scientific mind, I’d never explored spiritual options.

To be honest, I wasn’t closed off to anything, didn’t disbelieve what others said, but needed my own evidence.

If I couldn’t see it, it didn’t seem real. Now, though, I thought I’d try it for myself. And, during the hour-long reiki session, I felt tingling sensations and uplifted. After, my fear of becoming self-employed had shifted. The calm feeling lasted for days. I started keeping a dream journal for my wellbeing centre, describing the therapies I wanted to offer and my plan. I’d never heard of cosmic ordering, but my intuition was telling me to go for it. It was the right thing to do. The biggest hurdle was cash. I re-mortgaged my three-bed home to raise £125,000 to set up the centre. In May 2007, I found the right property in Saltburn- by-the-sea. It had natural light, nice-sized rooms, and was near the train station.

What’s more, the sellers accepted my offer, despite receiving a higher bid, as they liked my idea.

Fate’s on my side, I thought.

Universe

Having learnt to trust my intuition, I found myself waking at night, jotting down ideas.

I had strong feelings about my decisions, and trusted the Universe would provide the right people at the right time.

I knew I wanted to offer a range of holistic therapies, like reiki, but had no contacts.

Then, out of the blue, therapists started knocking on the door whilst the building was being renovated.

Practitioners came to me asking to rent out rooms! We opened in October 2007. Nervous, but excited, I wrote numerous affirmations in my intuition journal… Saltburn Wellbeing Centre will be successful. The right yoga practitioner will appear.

Unbelievably, a yoga teacher contacted me!

Reality

I fully trust the Universe and my intuition.

I regularly write my dreams and intuitions for the centre in my journal, and see them manifest into reality.

When I decided I wanted to offer psychic readings, I jotted it down. Within five days I’d met three psychics.

I’ve ordered clients, too, and books for a library – proceeds fund a child in the Gambia.

Despite all the stress of running the centre, I love my job. It doesn’t feel like work, which is one of the sure signs my life’s in balance.

Thanks to trusting my instinct, I manifested my true path.
