Where would we be without sex? Well – we wouldn’t exist, for a start! Whether doing it, thinking about it, or even avoiding it, sex features very prominently in all our lives, and is a feature of practically everyone’s dreams at some point – or indeed at many points! It can be a result of not getting enough, of course, or perhaps having too much (if there’s such a thing!), but the thing about dreaming about sex is, it’s not always about sex!

BDSM SEX

can symbolise all kinds of things, depending on what you’re dreaming of doing, but generally it signifies a subconscious desire either to be submissive, or to assume a more dominant role in your life.

ORAL SEX

represents a need to make others more joyful, or to receive more joy yourself. Are you giving or receiving? This tells us a lot! A glorious orgasm can represent pleasurable culminations or joyful ends to situations or projects. But it can also mean that you might not be experiencing enough bursts of joy as of late!

symbolises a lack of satisfaction, or that you feel unfulfilled – not necessarily sexually, but in life generally.

symbolises a desire to experiment sexually, or that you might be spreading your energies and attentions too thinly among others.

can symbolise a need to express yourself more freely, with fewer strings attached or responsibilities involved. It can mean you want to break out of a current situation in some way, or need more adventure in your life. Time to explore new horizons!
