They failed in the first series, but in season two they’re given a second bite at the cherry. Available from 31 July on Netflix.
WHY WE LOVED… PRIMEVAL
A team of scientists, led by Professor Nick Cutter (Douglas Henshall), including Abby Maitland (AKA Hannah out of S Club 7), investigate the appearance of ‘temporal anomalies’ – wormholes through space and time – through which dinosaurs keep appearing and causing havoc. Some of these dinosaurs are actually from the future. And in the middle of all this, Professor Cutter’s wife Helen has gone missing! For eight years! And it’s definitely something to do with those damn wormholes... Airing between 2007 and 2011, this was perfect Saturday night entertainment – if you like dinosaurs!
