Forced into drugs

Life hasn’t been the same for me and my little brother since Mum died. We’ve only got each other. I’m now extremely anxious as a local gang of older boys have coerced my brother into being a drug runner on our estate. I’m trying to hold down a job, and get him to school, and I don’t know who to turn to. I’m terrified he’ll be taken into care. Katy, 24, Manchester

I sense Mum passed quickly, but before she did, she told you to stick together no matter what. Don’t be afraid to ask for help from social services. You both need support and counselling, and they’ll be a huge support. You’re very strong, and your mother’s proud of the way you’re looking after your brother. Someone equally as strong is coming into your life shortly and will give your bro the courage to say no.
