Dream-leaping is the experience of being sucked out of an ordinary dream into a psychic or visitation dream. It’s usually a sign that someone, dead or alive, wants to make contact with you. If they’re deceased, it’s known as a visitation dream – one minute, you may be dreaming of flying sheep, the next, you’re deep in conversation with your late Auntie Edna! These sleeping visions are not ‘just dreams’ and not should be dismissed as such. Some dream-leaping experiences take you to a dream where you’re shown something means that either something to you now or will become significant, as a future such lover or child or the answer to a current dilemma with which you’ve been struggling.
